Before you can use master data in your protocols, you need to set up a database. This process only takes a few minutes.

Create a new database
Go to the 'Databases' section and click on 'New Database'. Give it a clear, recognizable name, such as 'Customers' or 'Assets'.
Define fields
Determine the columns for each entry—such as name, address, contact person, or serial number. Choose the appropriate field types, like text, number, or date.
Add entries
Populate the database manually or import your existing data. Each entry corresponds to a row, representing a specific customer, for example.
Manage data maintenance
Define who is authorized to manage entries and keep the list up to date. A well-maintained database is the key to quick and accurate report completion.
